I'm new to Roll20 but have been roleplaying for over 20 years.

I'd like to get to grips with the site as a player before running sessions myself, but when I find a group of likeminded players, I'm happy and willing to DM as well.

I don't mind which character or class I play, because I'm more than happy to fit into the group dynamic. My love of roleplaying comes from the challenge of playing characters I don't build to optimise. I'm not a power player and, honestly, am not a fan of those who are. That isn't what RP is about to me.

That's one of the reasons I love WFRP. I really enjoy the ability to create a character randomly and then develop them from there. It's kind of the whole point to me, starting as something you don't want to be, a peasant, an orphan, a villager in debt etc. and adventuring to get yourself out of that hole, but maybe never quite escaping your past!
