What's up, guys! I'm an experienced player and GM for the 3.5/pathfinder systems, though for the moment I am sticking with Pathfinder. I have about 7 years playing experience, and half that GMing. Haven't been able to gather round the table for a couple years, and I'm definitely getting the itch for some role playing lately, so I'm here to test the waters with Roll20. I've tried Play-by-Post format, but it just wasn't fluid enough for my tastes. I have a campaign prepared (on paper) so after I try playing to get a feel for the system, I'll definitely be firing up an adventure. I'm also a miniature terrain builder, although my actual profession (cabinetry) keeps me mostly too busy to expand past the hobbyist level.
In regards to play style, I would consider myself about 60% tactics-oriented, 40% role playing. I have no qualms pursuing a diplomatic encounter or story arc, but really find myself at home in combat, solving puzzles, and exploration. I usually don't play too dark and brooding (emo) of a character, although I can if the game calls for that; I prefer either being the comic relief IC or the reserved team player. Favorite roles are two of the classics: Halfling Rogue and Human Wizard. That being said, I don't always stick to those, and have played basically every core class in either PF or 3.5. Interested in exploring the gunslinger class if the opportunity comes along.
I try to speak and type in proper English, and if time allows I usually try to have as much detail in my actions and responses as possible. As a GM, I definitely pull out the stops on descriptions.
Whew... Well hopefully that gives you a good background for me as a player and game manager (I just can't get behind people calling me "master", lol). Hope to see you guys out there!
