Bio

Born and raised in the great state of Illinois! I'm an older gamer (50+) but I still think and act young (at least I think I do). Experienced player and DM. I remember getting my first D&D game in the form of the infamous "blue box" back in grade school and falling instantly in love with everything about it. It was all downhill from there. Receiving the various 1st edition hard bound books over the course of several years for Christmas and birthdays with each being better than the last. I played throughout elementary and high school. D&D served as a great form of escape for me as I am sure it does for most people. It also instilled much creativity. I've created a number of private homebrew campaign worlds and I have the mounds of paper work to prove it!

Once starting college, I let the bug subside a bit though my inner nerd still forced me to buy the hard bound books for all of the subsequent editions of D&D. I never really played much with these other versions however. Then in the 90s with the advent of Baldur's Gate, the RPG bug returned. I've remained current up to 5th edition which I believe to be the best (in my opinion) of all the versions in terms of ease of use.

Greyhawk of course is the "go to" campaign setting as far as I am concerned. I own just about every single piece of printed material there is (as well as numerous "unofficial" materials).
