Played (very heavily ) 1st edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons back when it was the only edition (TSR and the Judges Guild). Was the co-DM with a group of 4-6 that played religiously for about a decade. Left off playing 2E after "growing up and joining the real world" and have missed it ever since. Having been out of the game for quite some time, I'm looking to (gently) get back into it.
Our other DM (from my original gameplay back in the day) really had a knack for getting you personally involved and caught up in his campaign. Having enjoyed the art of storytelling and the role playing aspect of developing in-game social relationships with NPCs and player characters, that's what I'd eventually like to get back into.
I enjoy developing 2D/3D games in Unity and working with digital art in DAZ Studio, Vue, and Photoshop. I've worked in the technology field for decades and play a heavily modded Skyrim SE because it's the closest thing I've ever found to playing old school AD&D.
I didn't know online (pencil and paper) gaming had advanced so far until I found Roll20. So here I am, a newbie to online tabletop role playing and D&D 5E. Come and get me!
