I'm a college student studying psychology. I had a bit of an odd journey getting here. I used to be a game designer as a hobby, I didn't do much I just tinkered with a really old game editor to make my own games. The code was very basic. But a lightning storm fried my computer, and I lost the games I made and the ones I was working on.
My new computer couldn't properly run the old game editor I used, my knowledge of code wasn't enough to use another coding language, and I no longer had the endless hours of free time to learn another language. So, that ended my game making hobby, for a while. Needing a creative outlet, I turned to writing and began writing stories instead of making stories in games.
Although, being a gamer, my writing eventually wandered into the realm of text-based RPs, the ones without dice. I quickly got into GMing there, and was RPing and GMing those types of RPs for about ten years.
And now I'm here, poking around at dice-based roleplaying to see how this works.
