I'm a 30 something Pharmacy student in rural NSW (Eastern Australia). Played a whole heap of systems over the last 15-20 years, liked them all. Anything's fun if the people are good and the story is interesting. I'd love to get into Eclipse Phase, anything from White Wolf, D&D 3.5 or earlier, Shadowrun or Cyber Punk. I might like other stuff too, just haven't tried it.
I'm a full time student so have a fair bit of time, just don't like to go past midnight AEDT or AEDST. Unless I'm on holidays, then all bets are off! :D
I generally prefer good guys and probably have a slight bent towards power gaming when I can justify it for my character & the story. I like action in my games but very much enjoy role playing too, so a good mix of each is always fun. I just find that characters who are good in combat can usually roleplay just fine too, but characters who are only good at roleplay can't talk their way out of being dead when the shooting/swinging/clawing etc starts.
I have a little DM experience in Shadowrun, but that was before Uni began and I'm not sure how good at it I was. As a player I'm currently only playing 20th Anniversary Ed Vampire the Masquerade by White Wolf. That's why my profile pic is a sweet sweet Ventrue mace, oh yeah baby.
