I've been playing tabletop RPGs for a long time, starting back when there was a schism between D&D and AD&D. I GM at least as often as I play, and I've GMed for organized play and at cons.
I'm on the US West Coast, and have a busy life, but am still trying to make time for gaming. I've come to Roll20 with that in mind.
Pathfinder pushes some specific buttons for me -- I really enjoy the character building, and the crunch aspect. I've invested the time to have a good grasp of system knowledge, and playing around in the world of those rules is fun for me.
Recently, I've been really interested in the 3rd-party Spheres of Power/Spheres of Might ruleset. I've considered running a PF game with only Spheres classes, no Paizo classes. The prep work would be exhausting, though, so that's not too likely to materialize.
That said, I play characters that have well-developed personalities and lives. It's not just about the rules. In fact, PF is the only crunchy system I have any real interest in. I'm too busy to get up to speed on a brand new crunchy rule set, and there are so many fun, and lighter-weight, narrative and collaborative games out there to play instead.
