I first discovered and started playing TableTop games like D&D on My 7th birthday when My mother and stepfather gave Me their copy of OD&D as they had decided the game was not for them. That was back in 1978, and I've been playing RPGs ever since. I'm a hard core fan of D&D primarily, although I've played all different games, and I'm mainly enamored of the 4th Edition ruleset (Pre-Essentials) for that game. I'm also the Director of Tabletop Gaming for Eclectic Endeavors,a Division of the Springfield Regional Arts Council in Springfield Missouri, that puts on an annual Picnic called the 'Picnic At The End of the Universe' in May and a Convention known as GAM*E (The Gaming Arts Media Expo) in October. In addition to playing RPGs, I also enjoy console games, card games, and boardgames, with My current favorite Card Game being 'Cards Against Humanity' and current favorite Boardgame as 'King of Tokyo' I'm 43 yrs old as of March, so I've been doing this kind of thing, live for 36 yrs now, although I'm a relative newbie when it comes to roll20. I have in the past run both Play By Post and IRC chat channel sessions using either the D&D rules, the White Wolf: World of Darkness rules, or homebrew/freeform rules...if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I try to run at least 1 'How to GM Roundtable discussion' at our Convention every year if I can, and I'm always up to talking DM/GMing techniques with people. My games are run very olde school (yes, even with 4th Edition rules) heavy on Roleplay with the rules mostly focused in on the combat aspect of the game. Let the DM and PCs bring the rest, I say.
