I have been playing and GMing PnP RPGs for a number of years now and have quite enjoyed my time doing so. I first started as a player and leaned a lot more on the spectrum of power gaming over role playing. But as time progressed I grew quite bored of making technically legal but game ruining characters and began to truly enjoy characters that actually felt real, had stories, and had flaws. At this time I am focused more on GMing and tailoring my craft and voice for the narrative. I have been working to make a much more solid and versatile game for the people who let me run games for them, though as far as I see it I have a long way to go. I subscribe to the "yes and" style of response to player actions when GMing but become bored and frustrated with groups that tailor their experience in such a way as to not allow me to challenge them with out breaking the rules of the world created. I prefer to play fair with the players, genuine cleverness is rewarded and horrible blunders are met with the full response one would expect to face. Munchkins are not welcome. As time goes on I hope to fill my tool belt and idea bag to the brim, so that a truly sandbox game can be played while feeling alive and vibrant. Thank you to all who let me play as a character and to the people who allow me to GM for them. Happy gaming!
