there was a bit in here about how I've been playing table top for about 17 years on and off, mostly homebrew campaigns and the like, about how I've grown to appreciate a good party as much as I appreciate a traveling troupe of thespians or circus folk.
Right around here was a section about how I'm 95% open to most role-play, but I ain't down with using D&D as an outlet for some weird pent-up, "I-get-beat-up-at-school (I-get-beat-up-at-work)-so-I take-it-out-as-macho-rape-fantasy-when-I-play-as-my-super-amazingly-powerful-lvl20-battle-mage-who's-stats-were-totally-not-thrown-a-million-times-unti- everything-came-up-18". I don't hang with that, its whack and if you have some problems get professional help. Party members don't let IRL people become shittier versions of themselves by being shitty in a world where they can do anything they want. Not saying y'all have to be "goody goody' or telling you how to play a game just don't be fucked or inconsiderate of other people yah dig? cause if you went off and wanted to describe in gory detail how you brutally raped the barmaid at an actual table full of people, somebody would bust yer chops.
/soapbox.
