I’m old time player looking to come back from retirement. I have around 1 year of experience with Pathfinder, a 3 years with 3.5 and too many to count with 2e. I’m 45, all-around geek.
My favorite RPGs are the Elder Scrolls games and Baldur’s Gate saga.
I prefer a combination of role play, story, and combat.
I enjoy games with heavy role play with challenging combat. I enjoy coming up with cunning strategies and tactics inline with the character. Even failure is an option. "Failure is not an option. It is mandatory. The option is whether or not to let failure be the last thing you do." (Maxim #70, The Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries)
List 3 Pros you have as a player
I’m punctual.
I’m a fan of the no asshole rule. I understand that every player and character has a role in the enjoyment of the game.
I like to think outside the box. Failure is not an option? Is not, IS mandatory. The only option is wether let failure be the last thing we do. In other words, run in the opposite direction in on the table and comeback to fight another day.
List 3 Cons you have as a player
I’m an introvert and can be quiet at times. I need to remind my self to be assertive. I often can find more than one solution to a problem and debate internally which one is the best one. Then I stop my self, pick a solution and embrace the consequences.
Sometimes my jokes can be obscure.
