I've been playing various TTRPGs for about 20 years now. I cut my teeth on 3.5 in high school, and learned to DM in my 20's over 4E, but I'm most experienced with 5E. As a player I prefer spellcasters with engaging character hooks, but I've played most classes at least once, I think.
I miss playing in person, but Roll20 helps me keep the itch scratched. I usually use a combo of roll20, DND Beyond, and Discord (or sometimes facebook messenger, don't judge). When playing in person is safe again I want to go back to hosting games here in Montgomery, Alabama. (That puts me in the Central time zone.)
I enjoy playing with both new and experienced players from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, genders, and political affiliations. Respect for others is my only universal requirement, although some games may have an age restriction.
Painting miniatures and building terrain is a relatively new hobby for me. I also enjoy reading a wide variety of books and comics, and playing a few select video games. (Dragon Age and Stardew Valley are my favorites.) I make jewelry, and I am a master knitter and a decent spinner and dyer. I'm very tempted to learn how to pour handmade acrylic dice. A small dog named Baby and two noisy, beautiful parrots are my family.
