Hi, I have played in tabletop groups (face to face) for a LONG time but was without a group for several years. I enjoyed restarting using Roll20. I prefer free to play games.
I have copies of the rules for all of the games listed in "Enjoys Playing" (somewhere or other) and have played games using or based on the rules at some point plus a number of games based purely on "house rules". I also have rules for Babylon 5 RPG 1E, SJG's Car Wars/Autoduel, Vampire the Masquerade, and Chivalry & Sorcery. I have played a few other games, such as Paranoia (where I used psi powers to pull the pin on a grenade in a party members backpack just before he did something almost as bad to me!) and have a copy of the rules for Gamma World somewhere but never played it but thought it looked as if it might be fun. I spent a couple of sessions with our group rolling characters for Space Opera, I think, but we decided that if it took 8 hours just to roll a character, the game probably wasn't worth the effort.
I have played in various MMOs, including World of Warcraft, Star Trek Online, Star Wars, Champions Online, Lord of the Rings Online and Elder Scrolls Online.
I'm also a former wargamer using house rules for ACW & WW2, played some Napoleonics (one battle my drunken Russian General persuaded his infantry to charge French cavalry and broke them twice!) and Warhammer Ancient Battles for an Imperial Roman army with a couple of alae of Sarmatian heavy and light cavalry.
I've also done some LRP, including sessions in woods near an installation near Aldermaston where I was warned not to get too close to a certain fence in case some over-enthusiastic guys with non-LRP weapons got carried away. Also spent an enjoyable December weekend at a youth hostel in South Wales mainly doing monsters for an ongoing campaign.
I'm based in the UK and would prefer to play in the evenings between 19:00 and 24:00 during the week and pretty much any time on Saturday and from 14:to 24:00 on Sunday (with a break at around 19:00 for something to eat}. I might be able to fit in games during the day on weekdays, let me know when and what day and I'll get back to you.
