DM
I've read enough stories, and know enough about bad DM's to know what NOT to do.
i also have a rather good talent for keeping knowledge separate from npc's so there is little meta as possible. So far, from what my players tell me, is that I am very good. I'd like to think so too, but i don't allow it to get to my head. I will always ask after each session what i can do to improve the experience. I also do a bit of voice acting when it comes to npc's. My female's are still a bit masculine, and i have roughly 20 or so voices down (total).
My rule's and laws for my players are;
No meta gaming, No power gaming, No "magical realm's", No katana's, "Rocks fall, everyone dies" is not a joke, your fun is more important then the DMs, other players fun is more important then yours.
My oaths to my players are;
I will not pit you against an impossible challenge, I will not design traps that will instantly kill you that are not obvious or easy to avoid, I will not abuse my gm powers to rig something against you, I will not force you into unwanted situations(without a means of escape), i will not meta game: if i do so tell me and i will amend it.
