Chill, accepting, creative, and open. "Know the rules well, in order to break them effectively" is one of my favorite sayings. Another is, "People might not remember you were right, but they'll never forget how you made them feel".
Cooperative storytelling is at the root of everything humans do, and while often those efforts are overshadowed by their goal-oriented nature (work, family, etc.), it's the stories we tell ourselves and each other that drive us and give us purpose.
Creating and starring in our own stories, that we compose as we go along, is probably the ultimate expression of that drive, and I've come to enjoy it quite a bit. Desktop role playing as a 'sport' is much more than a fun escape, it's rewarding practice, a trial run, at being something / somebody new. Then again, sometime's its just a game. Part of the fun is getting to decide which is which, from one minute to the next, as you play.
If you enjoy the simple pleasures of interacting with other intelligent, creative people, then we'll get along great. Let's play!
