Howdy all! I am Carl from Illinois, originally from VA. I started roleplaying on the internet freeform style in the old Yahoo chat rooms. I was about 13. I was awful. I have come a long way from my Yahoo days. I went through an IRC phase in my mid teens that lasted till my MUing days in my early 20s to very recently in my thirtys. I met two of my best friends on a Harry Potter based MOO, and it was on that MOO that I became a more coherant roleplayer. These friends and I grew so close that we consider each other brothers and I came to know them in person. They introduced me to my very first table top RPG experience. I have had a number of them now over the years since, in person and online here at Roll20. I am always learning new things. The systems I am most familiar with are old WoD (Vampire specifically) New WoD (Changeling specifically) and somewhat familiar with Victoriana. I own the basic set for GURPS 4th Ed. I own the very promising Polyhedral Dungeon. I own but have never gotten to play Shadowrun 4th Ed. And I own the excellent narrative system Mythic Role Playing along with the expansion book Mythic Variations. I am looking to make new gaming friends, and I would love any tips on GMing as it is something I am wanting to learn.
