I began with Basic D&D in 1981, moving quickly on to AD&D, which I played off and on through the 1980s and early 1990s. After a long break I came back to AD&D five or six years ago, playing with my brother and old friends once a year in person and then in a biweekly game online. I have purchased and read most of the 5e materials but haven't had a chance to play yet. I recently discovered Dungeon Crawl Classics and am very interested in trying it out. In my thirty-plus years playing I have been the DM almost exclusively and am very interested in getting on the other side of the table. My playing sensibilities are decidedly old school - rulings not rules, the DM has the final word, and so on. My response to pretty much any player request is "sure you can try that, let's roll some dice." I believe that good gaming demands good fellowship, co-operative story-telling, and a sense of humor.
