Been playing D&D 3.5e for a long while now. I've also played some video games based on 3.5e, like Neverwinter Nights. I like the Forgotten Realms setting, though I admit I'm not that well versed.

Other than D&D, I love Star Wars (Particularly the Prequels.), Marvel and DC both, though not equally or fully. For Marvel, I am more interested in Spider-Man and the X-men than the rest of Marvel, and I've mainly read Ultimate Marvel comics. For DC... Well who doesn't like Batman? Batman, Justice League, Teen Titans... Though most of my passion comes from media rather than comics, there.

More recently, I came to love Alita: Battle Angel and Tales of Arcadia, especially TrollHunters. If you haven't heard of either, I recommend them.

Personally, I don't view Star Wars as sci-fi so much as it is high fantasy. Won't talk in depth about that, but let's just say there's as much magic in Star Wars as there is in the forgotten realms, and the original trilogy followed the same formula that most high fantasy stories followed at the time.

I mostly go where the mood takes me. So I can be too obsessive one moment, too uninterested the next. I found that I can easily dedicate my time to a session, however.
