Spend a lot of my time playing with the API seeing what I can pull off. Not as good as some of the code monkeys out there, but I get by.
Tend to like 3.5, mostly because it's the one I've heard all the stories about. But am open to pretty much any system as long as someone'll give me a few minutes to mull over the rule book.
Has recently discovered the double edged sword of optimized character builds. Sure, you can be a monk that can run up a tree and rip the heart out of a flying dragon at 8th level. And that's cool and all. But that's pretty much all you're good for. They're one trick pony's that are fine for roll playing, but terrible for role playing.
I also have a thing against players that just want to get to the next fight and are bored unless they're killing something. They have that game, it's called Diablo II, stop guilt tripping the rest of us and go play that. --Rant over.
