Hi there! I’m Anna, a relatively new player looking for a role play heavy campaign. My hours are a lie, I've left paged idling in the background on accident, so...
I’m in PDT, and a student, but anything after 5 pm will work, as well as all of Saturday/Sunday.
I’ve tried out a little bit of Pathfinder and a homebrew FATE system, and have a passing understanding of D&D 5e. I really enjoy just joking around and making stories together. Recently I really wanted to get back in it, and most of my friends are busy with class, so I thought I’d try out here! I like longer, more frequent campaigns and I’d be fine with working a little to make things work. I’ve looked into etiquette and will try my best to be a player who keeps playing fun for everyone. I’m a novice, though, so if I make a mistake or do something wrong, please tell me! I’m happy to learn :)
I’m hoping for a smaller group to share lots of silly hijinks and jokes with, and a more story/character-centric campaign, that’s less focused on success and ranking up than building a great narrative together. I’m okay with a more serious tone, but I do want to really get to know my party in-game (and hopefully as people too!).
I guess I like a bit more backstory and stuff? I love having some dialogue and character development to spice things up! Basically, I’m really in it for the role playing I guess, haha. I’ve kinda wanted to try improv for a while, and role playing just takes all the best parts and sounds really cool. Podcasts like the Adventure Zone really got me hooked on it again. Started watching Critical Role since it has a transcript now, and hoo boy!
I have no idea how good I’ll be, but I really want to give it a go and I’ll do my very best!
