Hello, my name is Stephen (Ste-ven) and I've been playing dnd 5e for about two years now. I've been relegated to the role of forever DM as none of the campaigns I play in seem to get scheduled more than every 6 months. On this note, I'm interested in playing in a preferably regularly scheduled game. I'm available on Mondays and Wednesdays after 3 PM.
A little about me:
I play LOL, Dark Souls, Dead Cells, and Stardew Valley regularly. I'm a casual consumer of anime, I like JOJO, Demon Slayer, and The Promised Neverland a lot. I also really like Warhammer 40K and MTG. I'm a 19-year-old college student in the US, but I don't have summer classes (studying radiology). I like to play paladin and rogue but I'm very interested in playing either an enchanter wizard or a storm sorcerer (I'll take what I can get though). I generally value RP over much else in play (I fall under the school of thought of builds are cool as long as you can justify it in character).
Some quick samples of previous characters I've played:
Professor Loth - Tiefling, swashbuckler rogue, neutral good. Professor Loth is a 56-year-old low-royal and extremely prestigious ex-theater and history professor on the run from assassins after attacking the honor of the guy who beat him when running for president of the teachers' union. Now he is on the run putting on shows with small theater troupes throughout the land. Some of his escapades involve getting a flame-tongue rapier at LVL 5 and dealing 40 damage in 1 hit to a bandit then adopting a runaway slave and teaching him to read and write. He also keeps track of the party's shared inventory and recently added a lot to it after freeing a slave convoy and returning them to their home town where he was contacted by a warlock patron and took a level in warlock for his sixth level.
Morroth (I wrote like an 8-page backstory [which I still have at least 4 pages of story to continue] for this guy if you're interested) - Kobold, battle smith artificer, chaotic good. Morroth is a kobold of clan Vel' Kor. He and his clan were cursed to not be able to enter the underground after they were contracted by a so-called professor from a local university to uncover some dragon bones. He actually just wanted to steal the long-dead dragon's hoard, this angered an elder god called The Buried. This "professor" introduced the clan to technologies they had never seen before or even dreamed possible. He taught Morroth to maintain them and how to create them himself. Eventually, the "professor" turned because the clan refused to help him finish excavating the treasure hoard (because they knew they were already treading on thin ice by excavating the dragon skeleton) so he finished it himself while the clan elder ordered that no one-stop him. As expected The Buried was angered and attacked the clan and Morroth got trapped in a cave in and almost died until the ancestors sent him a gift in the form of an ancient half-destroyed golem that seemed to repel The Buried. He repaired it and it helped him fight his way out where he regrouped with the pitiful remnants of clan Vel' Kor. They moved into a nearby Tabaxi village and tried to adapt to the new way of life but they had been slighted. Being the clan chronicler he was tasked with exploring the world beyond their new home, find out what the golem is, and to track down the man who forced this curse upon them in an attempt to lift it. Some of his exploits include living in a portable hole, downing another party member in 1 shot after he tried to harm one of Morroth's pets (I made a +1 crossbow and nat 20'd the hit roll also we are LVL 4). Summoning a water elemental on accident, killing 2 out of the 3 wisps that his party fought because he knows catapult and has a magic weapon, and using a portable hole to move a 7' 6" steel defender out of a hole, also vaporizing an ancient but unimportant book.
