I am a player and a DM. I enjoy doing both. I usually run a PC of my own in my campaigns. My favorite thing to do is just alternate DM'ing with another player. That gives both of us extra time to write and get creative. I have a unique style of DM'ing and most the people I have played with find it enjoyable. I gear more towards combat encounters and usually keep my social encounters short and brief. If I am DM'ing the first session we do will be character generation as I do have a bunch of unique rules and quirks that are hard to describe by typing. I am new to this site, but not to the game. I have played AD&D, D&D 3.5, and 4e and usually end up combing all three to make my games unique. Some have said that I make my PC's overpowered, but none have complained about it.
