Ive been running campaigns and playing in them for 14 years, ive played mistborn adventure game, starfinder, pathfinder, stars without number, the cosmere rpgand dnd 5e. I run an ongoing homebrew hereditary lineage campaign that is currently in its 7th generation where players end up creating vast dynasties and space faring noble houses, inspired by warhammer 40k game of thrones and Brandon Sandersons works. I also run a starfinder campaign and another dnd campaign that are tied in to the expansive shared universe .
