About the GM
I'm a grimdark / dark fantasy Game Master: Miss the mechanical crunch of older systems and/or risk of being an adventurer where you don't feel like superheroes with no risks? If so I'm the GM for you! I run settings that promote a more challenging approach towards open world player driven stories. I avoid campaign modules & adventure paths.
I've been a Game master for over 20 years, started out with D&D 3.0 and Rifts. Jumped into 3.5 for many years. Once 5E was out I switched to the system for a couple years. My groups and & I decided to switch back to 3.5 and tried other TTRPG systems, like SWN, Vampire of Masquerade/World of Darkness, Lord of the Rings, & Kingdom Death etc. but we landed on Pathfinder 2e. I still feel new to this system but enjoy it a lot.
Favorite Part of TTRPG
I enjoy the role playing aspect where we use accents to get into character and help figure out what are the character's motivations and who they are. When other players do this it promotes more amazing gameplay. Regarding combat I love strategy and planing out synergies to support the group. As the GM creating encounters that make sense in the world and tying in environments, and the atmosphere of role playing the encounters instead of: its monster A turns, roll its attack then passing on without describing anything or talking.
Biggest Pet peeve
I'm critically fervent with communication regarding punctuality. I have no tolerance for no contact no shows
