"Even if they have super power, they have to be believable, what they do has to be what any normal person would do in those situations" Stan "The Man" Lee

My games are the sovereign glue that welds parties together. Random players from the internet can achieve immersion within 3 rounds using my comic book techniques.

I do not offer DM services to DMs. Go ask Dr. Frank for help, he has over 10,000 hours running free and paid games.

Even if a person who self-identifies as a DM swears that they can punch their balls off and shove their head up their ass in order to pretend to just be a player in my free games, I do not allow it. Even if they already punched their balls off.

Please find a paid DM who is willing to help train you as a DM. Free games are not a place for trolling for players or learning how to get your head out of your ass as a DM.

Let's be honest, it is a lot easier to hide behind a DM screen and read from the module than it is to develop a deep and meaningful character. All of my games begin and end with character, so there is nowhere to hide in the kind of game my players demand. The kinds of questions that hobbist DMs ask are 100% inappropriate in a free game. I will not waste the table's time explaining things so that a DM can explain it to their players in a free game.

Why free games?

Free games on Roll20 are for players and DMs who are trying to get their shit together.
If you have your shit together, you should be wanting to get a party together that stays together. When done properly, this game takes a lot of time. I can honestly say I spend as much time as Matt Mercer does working on my games. That's what I think it takes to put on a good game. We all have our own sense of what is beautiful.
If you have your shit together, you should be looking for a table that you can be a part of. I've seen stockholm syndrome keep free games together.

get your shit together

Free games are for kids.

I teach DMs to run free games for kids all the time.
Some players are DMs in the schools they teach in.

There are lots of reasons why it's cool to have kids in games.
I am looking for players who have left their place of comfort and have wanted something, and can use that to develop a character with. That's not a kid.

Sorry, no kids.
