I have been playing TTRPGs since the mid 1980s. I even got a chance to meet Gary Gygax, which was very personable at the time in our home town's convention in 88 or so.
I prefer Horror themed games as opposed to Dungeons and Dragons. When I join a campaign, I like to achieve a goal, then take a couple weeks off for a build up or a bit of a break. A never ending game bores me to tears. I am willing to play a NPC that will get killed in a game just to add flavor to a game and help the GM so he doesn't have to run 1 more NPC. I have no knowledge of scripting or roll20. When I purchased the pro account I just wanted to play my game, not learn how to code to play my game, or fight with roll20 to allow me to code my game thru the character sheet given. I see why the retention is low with roll 20. Not happy with the customer support so far. I don't see me renewing with the way things are handled for Call of Cthulhu.
