Hello there, my name is Dylan.
I'm in my mid twenties-- you know, that time in your life where your in-person friends have all sort of scattered and you kinda feel lost?
I am a student with a part-time job (full time in the summer), and I am very active in my extra-circulars. That being said, I still have a lot of free time-- especially on weekends.
I love type-to-play games as I tend to think faster with my hands on a keyboard. I don't love how they tend to die after one or two sessions though.
I enjoy playing druids and sorcerers in fantasy settings. I love that connection to nature theme. I'm also not a big one for preparing spells.
Post-apocalyptic settings are also a HUGE winner in my book. I love the feel of Darwin's World.
I've been an in-life player of D&D 3.5 and 4e games as a teenager. I've GMed a three session 3.5 game, and two short (~25hr) Pathfinder games, as well as many one-off no-system interactive story-telling sessions (set variously in real life, post-apoc., fantasy, and sci-fi settings).
I'm not sure what else is relevant, but I'm open to questions if there is something you need to know.
(**Note: I am a member of the LGBTQ+ minority. If this type of person is a problem for your group, feel free to leave me out of your games. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable if I make an off-hand comment, and I also don't want to be made feel uncomfortable if someone else does. Thanks.)
