Bio

30 year roleplayer (I'll leave you to work out my age) who started with 2nd Ed and has progressed through everything, both all the fad games and not - with the exception of AD&D 5th Ed, although as you can see he's changed his tune a little in recent months and is actively seeking out fifth ed games.

I am GMT based and suffer from ADHD - I use the word suffer, because in the context of game running and writing personal events can and will affect my relability, and people should know what they're getting. Which is the occasional moment of hyperfocus and a tendency to not know when the natural pauses are in a conversation (if you want to experience that, go wait for a bus - you can wait half an hour, then see four at once).

He also has the superpower of ADHD, to create and to invent within his head fantastic worlds from the age of five, and he's been bringing them to life since then. His main focus has always been on science fiction, not fantasy, and for some reason he never understood real world books bored him.

Right now, he's discovered the world of Roll20 rather... late, but has also discovered he's massively interested and invested in the multimedia gaming experience, and in using Roll20 - and the virtual platform, as more than a ‘virtual table top’ - a table top, if you were luck enough to have one, was a space to hold the tools which you used to build world in your minds. Well, that space just stopped being a limited two dimensional tool. At the same time, the format shifts to be smaller or more group centric, due to the two conversation media available! Even video is, honestly, more distracting (although helpful as a disability aid - something too few games consider, the impact of their dice mechanics on ASD and ADHD individuals - totally opposite impacts, but strong ones - and just as rules shape player behaviour, so to do dice.

He runs paid and free games - while the joy of creating and interacting is something he thrives upon, he has to contribute to the household budget and using Roll20 at full potential is not cheap!
