I've been playing since 1991. In 2011 I moved to the middle of nowhere, literally (190km south of the Northwest Territories in Alberta). This cast my gaming group into chaos, as I was the primary DM. A couple of my players made the transition to Game Table and then to R20. We still play about twice a month for 6-8 hours per session.
In 2015, I started recruiting players from r20 and the internet in general. It was about that time that I started accepting commissioned games from players who needed a DM. It's a nice perk to get to play the game I love and make a little coin on the side. It also keeps the wife off my back. I'm not "playing" I'm working.
