I'm new to Roll20 - I know it says I joined in 2014, but it was a bad time to try, too many other things happening. I played tabletop in high school D&D and AD&D (yep, the old color coded boxed sets.) I never really had a group after that. First group I found on here was L5R, and I got immediately hooked. I'm a huge Sengoku fan (Osaka castle in my avatar is artwork I did several years ago.) So I jumped on board with the card game as well. I'd like to find a D&D5E campaign to fall in with long term. I love playing stealth characters (ie Garrett and Sam Fisher), but I'm happy to play any other character to round out a group, if it's understood I may not have the best grasp on all the mechanics.
Big caveat with me: I will generally only be available as a late night player.
I'm happy to DM a group as well, if the group is forgiving of my newness. Any game I run would be story driven in an attempt to create something interesting to the players. I have zero interest in mods, unless it's understood I may homebrew a bit of what actually goes into the game. I just bristle at too much sameness.
If you catch me through the player finder, I'm cool with people who are cool with people. I don't like being pre-reprimanded by DMs, and I'll remove myself from any group that is either racist, sexist, or simply hateful.
And that's about all I can think to say now. I'm coming off the high of first session the the L5R group, and I'm really happy with how Roll20 works. Cheers, I look to see you in the multiverse!
