I'm 31 been playing games, many games since I was a kid. I started gaming seriously back in the peak of Runescape days. Moved on to games such as Dark Age of Camelot(for about 3-4 years), World Of Warcraft(6 years), Lord of the Rings(1 year) but I am ready to move away from constant MMO gaming and transition into face to face gaming. Board games pen and paper things like that. I never really had a chance to get into P&P gaming as most around here already have their groups and just really are not interested in teaching someone new.
I'm actually pretty new to the P&P genre of gaming. I played DnD once a long time ago, but in my area, where I live it's hard to find groups so I moved on to MMOs. But I would like to get back into face to face social gaming. I have been reading DnD handbooks (3.5) but I am willing to learn any other version or even Pathfinder. I am just looking for a group patient and willing to help me learn and welcome me to their group. I also need a group that understands I'm a caregiver 24/7 for my mother and sometimes things happen and I have to cancel. Her health is #1 priority for me.
