I'm a writer and lifelong gamer, but started getting into pen and paper games in 2014. I am deeply fascinated by stories and what it takes to make a good one. The collaborative nature of storytelling that arises from RPG groups is particularly interesting to me, and I'm the kind of GM (or player) that is always pushing to keep the story engaging for every player and their characters. That being said, I also love digging into the tactics of games, and I entertain myself by theory-crafting unique builds that won't always turn out the most effective, but sure will be memorable.
Outside of games I am a freelance writer who has contributed content to Paizo, Inc. among others. I'm also an avid drone pilot and filmmaker, and I enjoy nature photography and travel whenever I get the chance. I take strong inspiration from history and the natural world, as well as the long lineage of fantasy and science fiction writing, films, and video games.
