Bio

Experience: ~5 years
I've began playing Pathfinder in 2012 and have been an enthusiastic player ever since. Over the course of those years I have spend about fifty percent of my time as DM, especially in the last few years.

The vast majority of campaigns I've run have been homebrew in general fantasy settings, in fact I've only run the first book of Rise of the Runelords.

Preferences
I prefer a healthy dose of RP as I'm most interested in the story of campaigns and character-building. I'm very enthusiastic about inhabiting my character and the world the DM creates. That being said, tactics and combat are definitely important to an enjoyable campaign, just not as interesting to me as the story components of the game.

  • I prefer organized versus off-the-cuff groups (who doesn't I suppose).
  • I'm pretty detail-focused and am very interested in doing work outside the actual game session to help create better sessions.
  • As a long-time DM, I'm eager to make the DM's job easier by embodying my PC as much as possible and helping move the story along via my PC.
  • Adding the previous comment, I make sure to do the work to know my character before the game session to make sure we are only spending time doing the good stuff.

Past PC's

  • Johann Underground - Human Monk/Rogue who had spent most of his life underground trapped wiht his father in a labyrinth governed by a dragon. By the time he joined his party, it was his first month outside the labyrinth.
  • Attern Growell - Human Wizard who was a young boy fascinated in understanding the deeper structure of magic.
  • It's been so long since I've actually been a PC that I can't remember older characters. Though for my next games I intend to try things outside my comfort zone. A close gaming friend and I have been meaning to create characters that take advantage of teamwork feats.
