I first played Dungeons and Dragons when I was about 7 years old. I remember I was a dwarf fighter premade my uncles friend gave me to play. Did a dungeon crawl for about a hour. I was hooked from then on. Later I got pretty big into ad&d 2nd edition. I mainly DMed, thought I did play some.
Years later I got back into it since I got into mmorpg's and stopped played d&d. Started back with 3.5e but 4e had come out less then a year before. I love how 3.5 works and maybe I did not give 4e enough of a chance but I did not care for it much. Now as of recently I wanted to get back into it once again and here I am on roll20. I like the looks about pathfinder. Seems like a improved 3.5.
I have yet to try 5e but I am interested in trying it some day. I used to play Rangers or Fighters in ad&d 2e. But with 3.5e/PFS I have come to love playing rogue's and ninja's depending on the game and combat healers. A well played evil campaign can be quite fun as well. That doesn't mean murder and mayhem as true evil would use the masses enslave ect atleast how I would play it.
