Hi, I'm Josh.
About me as a ttrpger:
My fascination with tabletop RPGs began with listening to an actual play podcast called Dungeons & Doritos. 6 years ago I finally started playing. Since then, I do not believe there has been a single time where I was not currently the Game Master for something. I am currently running both a D&D 5e and Call of Cthulhu campaign, but unfortunately the players of these games have had changes of schedule, meaning the former is on hiatus and the latter is delayed until further notice. As such, I'm here to look for other games in the meantime, either to play in or run. I'm a college graduate with a degree in Anthropology and English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. This can probably be seen in how it comes out in my games. I have a passion for writing and learning ever more about human culture, be it past or present. When it comes to being a Game Master, I try to make the worlds I run players through feel alive, and like the players to make an impact when they hit the scene. After all, I've written the setting, the adventure, the NPC's; now it's time for the players to write the rest of the story.
About me personally:
A bi guy who likes RPG's way too much and can never quite decide between science fiction and fantasy. When it comes to my writing, my main influences are Douglass Adams and Terry Pratchett, but I've also been inspired by writers of larger and more serious works. My favorite musical artist is Ayreon, and I've even made a module based off of one of their albums (best session I ever ran btw).
