Age 40
Male
Married with 2 kids (3 and 5 years)
I live in Denmark (GMT +1)
RPG experience I (short):
I have been both GM and a player for a number of years (10-15)
Where I mainly have been playing/GM: AD&D and Shadowrun as well as playing a number of other systems.
Just coming back to RPG after a ten year break.
My RPG wishes:
Mainly to get started again, initially as a player, and with a revitalization of my RPG mindset, as well as a remembering and familiarization of the rules the role a GM should also become a fun option.
Due to work / family considerations I can mainly be active at 20:00-24:00 at GTM+1, but generally prefer 2-3 hour sessions. I might have to do some occasional business travels but normally only for a week at a time.
Style wise I up for both some hack and slash dungeon crawls, as well as some more in character styled games favored with some danger/action.
I am not particular religious in regard to which system we play, if all fails I can always play a character suffering from amnesia giving me an excuse to ask questions regarding the setup all the time :) I believe that I can pickup the basic/semi advanced fundamentals of most systems rather fast.
RPG experince II (you guess it "the long one"):
My first experience with RPG was back in 1990/91 during my one year as an exchange student in Michigan(US) as a senior at High school, where I had some friends who introduced me to Shadowrun, Dragon lance and AD&D. I got hooked and when I returned to Denmark a box or two was send by ship carrying my priced "library" of mainly Ad&d 1/2E books, I had horded all I could find/afford so I guess something like 20 - 40 kg of RPG books.
Back at home I by luck found a few other people interested in RPG, and we founded a small association/club in my home town for roleplaying (initially build around my collection of books), and I guess we had like 35 members when I 3 years later moved from the town to go to Copenhagen to study at the university. (playing/GM ad&d and Shadowrun as well as playing Rolemaster and Dangerous Journeys)
Over my 10+ years in Copenhagen I found others to play with initially from postings in the local game shop, later over two different periods I joined two different local Copenhagen RPG and board game association/clubs. (playing/GM mainly ad&d and shadowrun).
Then the last ten years I moved away from Copenhagen to a smaller city with a very limited RPG scenery, I started in new job(s), gotten married, bought a house, gotten two kids. So basically all my limited time for Gaming was basically reduced to PC games.
Now hopefully a new chapter will present it self with my discovery of Roll20.
Ok you actually read the whole bloody thing, now you better invite me to your game :)
