Hi, I Love D&D, getting a small group together and having a bit of banter while adventuring together creating our own unique story. I would be very easy going and my main concern is that we all have fun with some laughs along the way, so I look to cater for those battle junkies, role-players and explorers out there.

I like to create backstory encounters, interweaving it with the written material. My games are very much by the rules as written in DND but never be surprised if it turns into rules as fun. I will always allow for that creativity to flourish or that awesome hero moment where you roll a nat20 on an acrobatics check entering the room with a front-flip, through the window, drawing your sword and popping of a witty one-liner as you slice into an unaware Orc. But maybe you go for it and end up with the nat1 front-flipping through the window only to land on the rug and slide out the other end of the room into the far wall. Either way it will be a fun experience to remember.

I have just finished a 7-month Decent into Avernus campaign with David (aka Fey) as our DM. I didn't have a lot of knowledge or experience with 5e, but David easily helped me through it. Decent can be a very heavy going campaign ( it is set in hell after all!), but David still managed to bring it to life, and also inject a lot of fun into it. He is also totally committed to giving everyone a good game, and extremely reliable. I am now looking forward to starting the new campaign with him soon. Russell

I was lucky enough to join a game with Fey back in April of 2020 at a time where we all needed a solid group. I myself have DM'd on and off for 8ish years and have a lot of history with the game. When we started Fey was brand new to DM'ing but put an immense amount of research, time, practice and weaving in all of our characters backstories throughout. He is incredibly open to discuss anything in the game and having such an open-minded and creative DM has allowed our party to thrive not just as characters but as a DnD group.

We have had some earth-shattering moments both of success and loss and Fey has always found a way to make either side of the coin truly feel impactful, meaningful and change the world going forward. I cannot recommend Fey enough as a DM. His drive to constantly do better, investments in his arsenal (books/homebrews/music/sound-effects), and consistency to do better every single week is more than commendable. We have played almost every week for 2-years and I still look forward to every session even now.

David/Fey is a truly amazing DM, he manages to balance dynamic combats with intriguing and meaningful roleplay while still leaving time for shenanigans (and trust me my group loves shenanigans). He takes the time to create sessions tailored to his players, linking your characters' backstories to the plot, pulling you into the story and getting you invested so you're always excited to see where it goes next. During my time playing in his games I have laughed, I have cried and everything in between. I honestly can't recommend him enough as a Dungeon Master, trust me you should join one of his games.

David is a great DM. He’s very inclusive and supportive of players’ creative decisions regarding their characters, without sacrificing the gameplay of everyone else in the group. I genuinely feel his love for the game coming through when we play, and he finds interesting and fun ways of spicing up campaigns so even if you’ve played it before, it still feels fresh. He keeps a good balance between rule of cool type play and not letting players get away with too much ridiculousness. I would recommend joining one of his campaigns for sure.

I was introduced to Fey after joining a group in 2020, he was a newer Dungeon Master and took on a group of players with various experience levels. This game quickly became the highlight of my week, with insightful role play and meaningful combat, we as a party collaborated to make a memorable campaign with Fey steering the helm. I think without his DM style this could of just been another game, going through the motions until the module was complete, but Fey was able to involve the characters in the story, blending backgrounds, relationships, and the module seamlessly into something grander than I had taken part in. As for preparation and his use of the tools available within Roll20 he always seemed to make the adventure seem alive, throwing himself into the story, playing out the NPCs and knowing their nuances, all with vibrant maps, dynamic lighting and epic music. I am now in my second campaign with Fey and would recommend anyone, given the chance, to jump into one of his games, sit back and enjoy the ride.

I really enjoy Fey's games, and look forward to them all week! Immersive, knowledgeable, fun and fair, he brings the settings to life. He's really inclusive, and supports his players each get what we're looking for in the games. From brand new beginner to old timer, from the balance of elements (combat, roleplay, exploration, politics), to personalized encounters for each of us that we won't soon forget! Great mix of serious drama and comedy too.

On top of everything else, it's clear that he's having a blast playing with us as well! Altogether, this is probably why there's such low turnover in his games. All 4 groups I've played with under Fey have been long running games that got on really well with each other, and came back for multiple campaigns. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Fey as a DM is balanced with his encounters, open to player driven deviation from the module, and is not stingy with rewards. Not to mention, his role play style is always fun and engaging. Fey seems to favor character development over other mechanics of the game (rule of cool). Which is something I prefer. Simply, Fey is one of my favorite DMs that I've played with.
