Age: 57 ( Don't be such an ageist, you baby yodas)

Experience: I started playing D&D ( and later, AD&D) in 1975 and played like a religious zealot for about 10 years. I'm a veteran player in terms of the scope of interaction and game flow, but haven't played for many years, so I may be a bit rusty on game mechanics. I have a 5e players handbook coming and will get familiar with that shortly. I'm also unfamiliar with the roll 20 interface. I'd love to join a regular long term game. I'd welcome a short character creation and pre game combat trial run to work out the bugs and get me comfortable with the interface. I don't want to slow down the flow in a full game while I get acclimated.

Characters I Like to Play: I'm not fussy, I like playing all types of characters. My style of play is to play hard, but to err on the side of awesome. I'd rather try something fun and fail epically then play super conservatively. Having said that, know that I'm aware that this is a team game and I wouldn't make a personal choice that would willfully screw over my fellow players. I'm more interested in story and character advancement, then amassing personal power or gloryhounding. I like to play characters with fun, slowly revealed backstories in collaboration with the GM.

A Little Bit About Myself : In my 20's, "Normal" life prevented me from committing to a regular game and eventually I lost touch with all my gaming friends. I worked at a major computer game company in the 1990's as an artist and art director. I'm now self employed as a fine artist and have been listening to Critical Role while I work in the studio. I miss the high adventure, low humor, natural 20 high fives and the live action shenanigans and camaraderie that computer and video game rpg's lack.

What I Like Most About DND: I value a talented GM who invests alot of time and care in worldbuilding. I like looong open ended campaigns that continue on a weekly basis.

I'm ideally looking for a mature group of people (immature humor is fine though) who share the same goal of having fun. I'd like to find a more role play heavy group , but am not against pop culture comments or jokes as we play.

Days/Times That Work for Me: I'd like to find a group that plays once a week on mondays - thursdays. with a start time of 4-7 pdt and plays a nice long session of 4-6 hrs per session. If you want to try me out on a trial run as a guest player I totally understand. It's important to get a good fit on a long term campaign.
