Legacy Player
Grew up playing late 1st edition early 2nd edition of dungeons and dragons.
Had a long time running group ever since 1991 and up until a year ago, we played once a week consistently with the same group of friends. Myself and another were the "forever dms" - and now its just me. He passed away due to complications with Covid and other health concerns.
I am looking for a place to actually play a char more often. I found Role20 and thought maybe I would give it a shot.
Favorite class is Barbarian.
Second favorite is Druid
Not looking for anything super role intensive, but some is ok. My favorite type of gaming is something that offers a variety of interactions and adventure. Big fan of old school module mentality and massive fan of the Underdark ever since I ran the boxed set of Night Below (2nd Edition Campaign box set)
Anyways... I use D&D as my escape from pressure and would love to be gaming again. I miss my friend and this reminds me of all the good times we had.
Side note - 4th edition DnD wasnt a real attempt. That abomination should be hunted to the edges of the realms by all rangers who call abominations enemies.
