My name is John and I've been playing D&D for nearly 40 years, GM'ing almost exclusively since 2017. I run collaborative games. That means WE work together to create a story that we all enjoy.
Pathfinder 2e is relatively new to me, but reminds me of old D&D 3.5. While some things are different, some things are similar.
I fell in love with D&D the very first time I played it. The same can be said of Pathfinder. I am a professional GM. That means being a GM is my full-time job. What does that mean for you? A GM that is prepared. A GM that is ready to play. A GM that is committed. A GM that is flexible, can improvise, and can be spontaneous. It means you get a GM that focuses on the game, the characters, and the fun. I study the rules and follow them, yet I have a few exceptions for which I use homebrew rules.
I love combat, not gonna lie. I try to run a challenging combat and play the monsters they way they're supposed to be played.
I love roleplay, so I will do voices, affectations, quirks. Some NPCs you will love. Some you will hate. It's all part of the plan.
I'll add something personal from the characters into each and every campaign I run. Something in your backstory WILL show up.
Ultimately, we are telling an epic tale together. We will celebrate victories. We will suffer defeats. We will mourn the loss of comrades. We will laugh like fools. We cheer in celebration.
