I'm an oldie but a goodie (65 on the outside, 30 on the inside!), a former Marine, a married father/grandfather, retired History Teacher, master of voices, and funny as hell! Bourbon is my spirit of choice.
I've been a DM (B/E/ADD/2e/5e) since 1982. I'm a recent but enthusiastic Roll20 convert due to Covid-19 isolation, and currently I am running two online groups (one was face-to-face for 6 years, now on Roll20) with players' age ranging from 18 to 62. Before Roll20 I was formerly heavy into terrain crafting a la DM Scotty, Black Magic Craft, et al.
I use a set of house rules that blend concepts from AD&D, 5e, ICRPG, Five Torches Deep, and Professor Dungeonmaster at Dungeon Craft (YouTube). I like to bring in lots of sound effects, music, and animation to enhance the gamers' experience.
I like old school, deadly, gritty, low fantasy settings with lots of roleplaying. I prefer AD&D classes and races. I dislike multi-class, non-standard PC races/classes (no, you can't run an Aarakocra barbarian/druid in my campaign!); murder hobos, OP gamers, and rules lawyers.
