(He series pronouns, huge fan of singular they)
I’m an old greybeard and have been playing some iteration of Dungeons and Dragons since I was 11. I’ve run tabletop campaigns in Holmes, 1st, 3rd and 5th edition with campaigns set in custom settings, Dark Sun, Faerun and Adventures in Middle-earth. I’ve also run several sci-fi campaigns in various editions of Traveller as well as Fate. I’ve played a handful of story games as well, but my heart lies with D&D.
The most memorable moments do not come from the adventure, rather from unexpected responses by players that make a difficult challenge trivial, an ally out of an enemy or are just wildly hilarious.
Even if it actually is my game, it's not my game.
