I think trying fighting the dragon with a butter knife is a bad idea so retreating to a safe place. I will renter when it is safe to admire your courage before I loot your corpse.

My name is Robert. I was born August 22nd 1982 at 11 o'clock in the morning and I am a Leo. I like adventure and dark fantasy stories. I have a passion for studying intuitive Magik and Kundalini Yoga. In the past I've liked scientific podcasts on YouTube. I'm very well spoken and imaginative. Clearly I'm something of a nerd and I think that's a good thing. My sense of humor can be dry. Improvisation is a large part of the roleplay experience for me.
After joining some games I find that the backstory is hardly ever used and having a developed character and then being told that I have to follow the established path and get in line and just roll dice will kill my experience. I prefer that the core rules are not changed and adding some home-brew spot-rules is fine. I think if too many house rules are used it fatally dilutes whatever system you began with. I hope you will be prompt as you choose players for a game because I will be applying to other games too.
Preferred play stile:
Rules As Written 90% or more, use my Character Sheet and backstory, player-focused, open world, open-ended, dynamic, emergent, improve, free-form play, player-agency. I prefer a game with 2 to 4 players.
I don't like: bear-and-pretzels, railroader.
What I want the from the game:
I like characters to occasionally have there own aspirations and things to do and not only follow the party all of the time like a bunch of sheep and may be willing to walk off a cliff together. I hope that we will all be friends and that we will stay in contact after the game. I want to learn about you. I have no problems with power gaming provided it is explained by good character background. Tell me about your play style?
