Old enough to know better and too old to really care...
I've played AD&D (1st Edition) and basic D&D back in the 70's and into the '90's (very early '90's). Fell out of the game due to everyone going to 2E and higher and lack of free time. Getting new manuals was just too expensive and work was very irregular hours or on the road, so it was hard to schedule a game.Tried some other gaming systems (ShadowRun & GammaWorld mainly (found the books at a used bookstore)), but they just didn't have the following that D&D did.
Did some minor DMing back in the day, but didn't feel I was good enough of a DM to continue and it was more fun to be a player anyways.
Now that I've retired, I have the time and am trying to get back into the swing of the game. Very new to Roll20, so patience, please?
