I got into roll playing when someone came to school with the original blue Dungeons & Dragons boxed set- I have had a few beers between then and now so I don't remember exactly that was.
I played AD&D 2e for a while with some friends I met in college- life took me other places but I've always maintained a passing interest in D&D. I see that D&D has something new coming out--I am independent and my wife doesn't totally hate my gaming, so why not?
I kept at bay the urge to run out and buy the Starter Set because I would have read it through several times by now; but I jumped at the chance to preorder the Players Handbook. Lets see what the future hold for this branch of my hobby interests.
