I started playing RPGs back in the early 80's, with D&D and all of the other fun stuff we used to have way back then from TSR (they were the game wizards), like Star Frontiers, Gamma World, Top Secret... but I digress.
Lately I've been enjoying more of the "indie" and small shop games which focus more on "role" than "roll", like Dungeon World, Fiasco, Mouse Guard, Apocalypse World, Burning Wheel and Mouse Guard.
I'm seriously hoping that D&D Next isn't yet another dice, charts and grid-square money pit.
