Hello! My name is Nathan. I have been DM'ing for over a decade and have run numerous games across a wide variety of systems including Pathfinder, D&D, Shadowrun 4e, Iron Kingdoms, Starfinder, and more. If you are familiar with Myth Weavers, I am the Head of Community Management for that site under the username Nathan. I run a podcast by the name of Weaving Myths focused on playing tabletop RPGs over the internet.
I am a "rule of cool" DM. I expect my players to have unexpected and awesome things they want to do, and I embrace it. I feel that rolling should carry consequences, so if there aren't substantial consequences, I like to handwave things in favor of "That's AWESOME!" I also lean heavily on my players, so expect questions like "I don't know, have you met this person before?" Collaborative storytelling at its finest.
This will be the first Roll20 full campaign I've run. I expect there may be technical difficulties, but I know the rules of 5e like the back of my hand and gameplay should run smoothly assuming I can operate Roll20 proficiently. Shouldn't be a problem, but I thought I'd throw the disclaimer out there just in case.
I am proficient with Photoshop and several map-making programs, so you can expect to have hand-crafted maps and environments to explore and do combat within. I will be preparing heavily for this campaign in the coming weeks and expect to have the first three to four sessions prepared by the time the game starts, including contingencies.
