The night was still, but not quiet. Nature's predators eyeing their next meal in the cover of the darkness. The winds howl and cry against the cover of their shelter. Something startled the elder defender. A low continuous growl humming in another room of their dwelling. Noiselessly he stands from his bed, leaving his mate sound asleep. Ears alert to the threat in their abode. Heart pumping, the pads of his feet crept silently to the door of their second room. The door was securely closed. The source of the growl was coming from the room. His mind raced with the idea of what beast had infiltrated their quarters. A second snarl began to echo from the room. Two beast passed by undetected? How is this possible? With short sword drawn he rushed through the door ready to protect his family. The elder's eyes scan the room and find nothing but his offspring snoring louder than a newly nestled hibernating bear.

While the short passage above is fictional, it does shed light on my life. I'm a husband, and father of two beautiful daughters. I'm a high fantasy enthusiast, and love to read fantasy books. I also enjoy writing.
I'm new to D&D but I'm ready to dive right in. The concept has always been very exciting for me, but I have never had people to play with. I'm excited to start some adventures on Roll20 and hope to meet some new friends.
