Bio

My name is Adam and I am a student at Savannah College of Art and Design and I am getting a degree in animation. before that I was a construction worker and motorcycle mechanic and previous to those I was in the Army for 4 1/2 years. About eight years ago I was attending acting classes for therapy and to try something I always wanted to and I ended up falling in love with it. Because of certain circumstances I was unable to continue going to my classes and late was introduced to D&D by my little brother to which I fell in love all over with acting through D&D. I have some experience playing D&D, I am well versed in the rules/ concepts and I am a thespian at heart.

Acting and storytelling are my true passions in life and when introduced to D&D and the idea of having "scene partners" to play out an epic story of action, drama and mystery sounded like a dream. But over the past few years I haven't found "my group" and I'm sure this may come off as a "red flag" but I couldn't seem to find a group as passionate about roleplaying and acting as I. While I hold no contempt for those who just want to hang with their buddies and joke around; I prefer an epic dramatic tale of action and intrigue and I understand there will be people who are put-off by my ambition and will think I'm arrogant for dreaming of the stars, to that I say, "oh well." I would love to weave a story with other passionate actors and storytellers; so do not hate me for my ambition- if you must hate me, have the decency hate me after getting to know me.

I'm looking for serious thoughtful storytelling where everyone FEELS the weight of their actions, the consequences of their choices and even the loss of loving Players and NPCs. I know a good DM comes with a price (as they should) so I expect to "pay to play." I think as a team with the aid of our GM we can come up with rules and regulations for our game so everyone gets a chance to shine. I truly do hope this message reaches my fellow thespians and we can play an epic game!

Thank you for your time,
Adam
