Hello. I’m Thomas.

As is traditional for a Scandinavian, I reside in Stockholm, Sweden. Many years ago, I also had the pleasure to live in the US for a while.

English might be my secondary language, but I definitely consider myself fluent. One of the things I look forward to the most is to get to speak said language on a regular basis here.

I prefer night over day and have the luxury of determining my own hours, so time zones won’t be a problem regarding scheduling.

When it comes to roleplaying, I have decades of experience, primarily as the GM. Playing online however will be a brand new experience for me, so I’m looking to be a player for once.

With all the games, systems, campaigns and worlds that I have explored and created over the years, it’s only natural that I have developed some preferences over the years.

First, I lean towards narrative roleplaying. The story and characters should come first. Later, those moments are always what you remember most fondly. Creating awesome memories together.

In my opinion, the mechanics of any game should serve the fact that the PC’s are the main cast and the center of the story. Highlighting the protagonist’s lives is what roleplaying is for me.

If the game consists of only of dice rolls without any descriptive elements, I personally lose interest pretty fast. The same goes for obvious railroading or discouragement of creative solutions.

Like any NPC I’ve created, the PC I want to play is going to have a set of morals, opinions, personal goals and a developed personality. Asking me to ignore those takes away the joy of playing from me.

Allow me instead to contribute to the atmosphere of the game and interact with my fellow players and the surroundings that you, the GM put so much effort into.

That being said, I love being a part of a group that makes sense. When creating a character, I’ll make one that fits in well with the others. Having a general theme is important to me, but I have no problem adapting and rejoicing at all the possibilities that makes way for.

Lastly, sharing is caring. Every character should have their moments where they really shine. And I thrive on putting the spotlight on the character of other players whenever possible.

Thanks for reading this far. Looking forward to playing with you.
